Why join?

You will be supporting a growing network of scythe users and teachers, and enlightened land managers.

You will be part of a local group. SABI’s regional co-ordinators deal with requests for information, and encourage a social scything scene where all who turn up with a scythe are welcome, and skills can be exercised or developed.

Take part in an on-line discussion group. The google group is is an optional forum for sharing news of events, discussion of equipment, and scythe exposure in the media. See this link to google group for a history of posts.

Receive a newsletter The Windrow twice a year (or more). Back issues are here available on this web site but you will get it first.

You will receive a handsome metal pin badge. (Replacements are available at a cost of £3.00)

Note that membership of the SABI Facebook page is open to all comers, not just SABI members.

How much does it cost?

Annual subscription £10.00

Irish members pay €10.00

A multi-year discount is now available – pay £40.00 for 5 years membership.
(€40.00 for Irish members)

The subscription year is June to May, so renewals will be due in June.

Hello All, I’m living on 30 acres in Bushey Heath with possible 50 more next door was wondering if any London scythes are interested in a cut? In exchange camping facilities, spring water, shower. Compost toilet, food, etc, for the very fit they can take a “cut “out of the cut too. Call me if you want to discuss further 07715381732 Coco.
